I know!! Chat rooms = Online Dating. It’s a common factor. For some its more than that I guess. Why do chat rooms even exist? Maybe for some it’s a good way to meet their future better half. Is that obstructing the love term “Love at first sight?” Or maybe sight isn’t the right word there. Now you get chat rooms categorized as Business, Music, Sports, Love and Dating, Religion. Are you serious? You actually think people categorize their chatting into certain interests? Maybe most of you people have been on chat rooms and most of you have a faint idea in what I’m trying to say.
Ok. So you log into a chat room and what’s the first thing you have been asked is what’s your ASL? Yes people a good 30 minutes of chatting cut down by 3 letters. ASL!! Age, Sex, Location. It’s the first chat room term you study just like the alphabet when you started school. Chat rooms maybe successful for many individuals and I accept the fact that it’s not just a dating thing but a good platform to make good friends.
Well moving on the rule of the strongest survivor literary is applied even in chat rooms.
The male is the person with the hardest work load in a chat room as you may see he scrolls up and down and eagerly anticipates the entry of the female. Take it from a girl’s perspective. When a girl logs into a chat room it becomes her worst nightmare because eventually all the guys have sent chat requests to her. So she turns on the filtering process of choosing the best person to chat with. Maybe a guy who has the coolest chat name will stand a chance and then it’s again the hunting process for the rest. It’s totally like real life you know like in the jungle when the female species chooses the most suitable male species. Lets take our attention away from the jungle shall we because it’s a proven fact that mankind is more civilized than the animals. Where were we then? Oh yes. Chat rooms. Interesting aren’t they?
So we were talking about the mating process in chat rooms. Now we go to the bizarre and crazy sides of chat rooms. I happened to log into a chat room recently and let me tell you it’s not that much of a calm peaceful place. You get a couple of guys spiting out slang on the main window which is very scary and then you get a list of chatters who have really corny nicknames which are extremely funny. You get a certain group of people who are actually males but they chat as females which is very strange. I really don’t get this and I tend to think whether it’s because they want to experience how a girl chats in a chat room or whether they are mentally stressed out of the fact that girls keep rejecting them. It can be either way but let me tell you it ain’t cool to do so because girls can tell whether it’s a girl/boy their chatting with. (I have no experience what so ever)
My advice is choose a decent chat room and then create a cool nickname which is not even near being homo sexual and doesn’t display violent content and something that doesn’t offend anyone in anyway. Then try your luck or if you’re not down with that then get a life!!!
